I’m here at the farm alone today with Sofia and Michelle. In my usual mode, I went from feeling a bit anxious to — tiptoeing, then wading, then immersing myself into the flow of the day. The girls are amazing: They entertain themselves and me, with creative projects such as collecting flowers into a bag or a cup…two overlapping blossoms of red and white greeted me when I opened the gazebo door a while ago. Sofia had brought the flower gift and placed it on the door mat for me to find.
Not much time to write. A moment to reach out to you and whisper “Hello” from the stillness of the rainforest. I want to share two quotes that touched me in the last couple of days, from two friends that sent them to me.
From Helen Keller:
“Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.”
From Gautama Buddha:
“In the end
These things matter most: How well did you love? How fully did you live? How deeply did you let go?”
Michelle just came in and “told on” Sofia…she said, scowling, “Fofia wen’ up-stays.” which I think means that Sofia went upstairs to a place that she is not supposed to go…Girls on their daring adventure…
I wonder who they take after? …. From our adventure to yours, may we all experience peace, love, happiness, health, safety, and goodness…everyone..xoxo
Love the quotes. Miss you!
Miss you, too, brave Warrior Woman living fully:) xoxo
