Off the grid Mama and family and headed out of the Boston area into the “Cato?” (I think that’s what they called it?) Winter Storm here on the good old East Coast. Traffic predicted to be horrendous, with limited visibility, heavy rain becoming 12-18 inches of snow as we get toward our destination sometime later today. That’s what I’m talkin about, you silly East Coast winter, you! Reminds me so much of my last two winters here..we are digging into the bag Lisa brought us, for hats and socks and mittens and coats and snow pants and everything in semi-paired colorful chaos as usual! The locals here always said, “Winter is not for sissies here”.
BFF Jean and her family chose to depart at 5:30 am to go to their family in Connecticutt: Very good idea!!!!
We will head out soon. But thinking of everyone today, traveling to possibly various destinations to be with family and friends…or you might be a yoga enthusiast hanging out on a beach in India…wherever you are, whoever you are: My every wish is that you are filled with peace, love, happiness, health, SAFETY (a little emphasis on this one today), and goodness. Everyone..xoxo Enjoy the ride!
What we say in New England is if you don’t like the the weather wait a minute! Don’t forget the previous few days were in the 60’s which is “balmy” for this time of year here!
Fair enough Nancy!!! You’re right, it will change:)
Be safe n much love; I wish we could help you shovel out tomorrow!! Xoxo
There’s no snow here. We only had rain. Happy Thanksgiving.
